Armin van Buuren’s radio show ‘A State of Trance’ has been going strong since 2001. With an estimated 20 million listeners, spread over more than 74 countries, ASOT is broadcast on over 150 FM radio-stations and globally through satellite and internet radio. ‘A State of Trance’ is one of the most popular and beloved weekly dance radio shows in the world. Armin won the award ‘Best Mix Radio Show’ at the Winter Music Conference in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2013. Armin was voted number one DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 five years in a row, claiming the number 2 in the popularity poll in 2013.
Armin provides trance fans with a blend of tasty new tunes, the Future Favourite, Tune of the Week, and a classic track each week. And the good thing is, it’s not just limited to trance music only. Armin: “What makes trance work so well is that it doesn’t stick to one style, and can incorporate electro, minimal, whatever it likes.” The main focus of the show will always be trance, but Armin is not imprisoned by one style. "TranceFusion" is our very own Hamilton based, live internet radio broadcast. We broadcast live every Saturday from 7pm - 9pm EST. We play requests and dedications during this show and provide updates on the latest artists in the Trance genre.
